Our Story
Fifty Years on the Same Streets
What started as a local window cleaning business in 1973 has grown into a trusted property service company serving homes and businesses throughout the Cedar Valley.
Our equipment has changed a great deal over the years. Pure water systems replaced buckets on a lot of jobs, and services like gutter cleaning and holiday lighting were added as customers asked for them. What has not changed is the way we approach the work: show up when we say we will, communicate clearly, and take pride in doing the job right the first time.
Fifty years in one community means a lot of the same houses and buildings, cleaned over and over across decades. Some of our customers have been with Sparkle longer than the person cleaning their windows has been alive. That is not something a franchise can offer, and it is the part of this business we are most protective of.

Being a family business is easy to put on a sign. Here is what it changes about how we work.
A name we have to live with
Our reputation in this community was built over three generations. We are not passing through, and we do not get to walk away from a job that went badly.
Customers are neighbors
We run into our customers at the grocery store and at ball games. That tends to keep everyone honest, and it makes the work feel different than a route ticket.
You can reach an owner
If something is not right, you are not filing a ticket with a call center in another state. You are talking to someone whose name is on the business.
We think in years, not visits
The goal is never one appointment. It is being the company you call again next spring, and the one you mention when a neighbor asks who does your windows.
Still improving
Respecting the history of this company does not mean doing everything the way it was done in 1973. We invest in better equipment and better methods as they prove themselves.
Local, not a franchise
Sparkle is not a national brand with a Cedar Valley territory, and we are not a lead company selling your information to whoever bids on it. We do the work.
